Founded in 1994, the Canadian Gay, Lesbian & Bisexual Resource
Directory is an organization dedicated to the collection, compilation
and distribution of information important to or of relevance to
the GLB communities across Canada.
GayCanada is the Internet side of the CGLBRD. It functions as
both a primary method for displaying information that the CGLBRD
has collected as well as an information gathering tool for the
organization.

Fathers of Toronto is a non-profit organization whose
primary purpose is to offer a supportive environment to fathers
who are gay oriented by providing assistance in building a positive
self-image and by encouraging them to be loving and responsible.
GFT also support men in their journey of coming out and in their
reaction with family and friends.

Guelph
Pride exists to organize
an annual picnic to celebrate and bring together Guelph's Lesbian,
Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Two-Spirited, Intersex, Queer and
Questioning (LGBTTIQQ) community, their friends, families and allies
of all ages in a safe, welcoming environment. The picnic serves
to connect LGBTTIQQ people and allies with queer-friendly and relevant
social services groups and volunteer opportunities. |

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans (LGBT) Parenting Network
provides resources, information and support to LGBT parents and
their families. Through the network, LGBT parents provide each other
support, share information and advocate for their rights. Some of
the network members are also available to speak in schools.

Rainbow Chorus is a charitable, non-profit organization of amateur,
non-auditioned choral singers. We join together in song and celebration
of the diversity of our community.Our members (lesbian, gay,
bi, trans & straight) come from
small towns throughout South Western Ontario.The Rainbow Chorus
depends on financial support from its members, sponsors and communities. |

Straight-Forward
is a Toronto-based support group for straight spouses of gays and
lesbians.
According to
The Straight Spouse Network, it is estimated that there are more
than 2 million mixed orientation couples and that more than 80 percent
end up divorced. Mixed orientation couples means that one spouse
is either gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.
Supports do
exists for the gay/lesbian partner in their 'coming out' process.
However the straight spouse is often left to deal with the aftermath
with little to no formal support network. |

Straight
Spouse Network is an international support network of heterosexual
spouses and partners, current or former, of gay, lesbian, bisexual,
and transgender mates. Members provide confidential personal support
and resource information to spouses, or partners, and mixed-orientation
couples nationwide and abroad. SSN is the only support network of
its kind in the world.

and transgender community serving more than 1/2 million people in
the communities of Cambridge, Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo (the tri-cities
